After obtaining my MBBS at the University of Colombo in Sri Lanka, I went on to gain LRCP and MRCS qualifications in London. I have a special interest in paediatrics. After getting my DCH qualification in London, I worked in both community and hospital paediatric settings. A long time local resident, I have enjoyed working as a GP in the area for much of the past 30 years, including previously managing my own surgery. As well as Surrey and South West London, I also spent a period working in Canada as a family physician.
