Staff

How we work

Our doctors work in Clinical Teams to provide continuity of care to patients. They are supported by Team Care Coordinators who provide administrative support to the teams and are a point of contact and support for patients as well as ensuring proactive care by scheduling in activity and patient contact for the clinical teams.

All our doctors take part in our Same Day Team rota. Each day we have at least 2 doctors forming the Same Day Team all the time between 08:00 and 18:30 and they are there to filter requests for same day appointments, provide telephone advice, provide face-to-face appointments for those who need to be seen, oversee home visit requests and deal with any patients who need an appointment soon yet are having difficulty accessing this through our system. Sometimes they can be very busy but please be assured that they will get back to you and will not go home until they have safely managed your care.

The staff at The Nelson Medical Practice work hard to ensure only the best quality care is provided to all their patients. You can find out more about the different members of our team by using the left hand menu.
